Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: 17 October 2026 · Last Updated: 17 October 2026
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions are intended to govern access to and use of banking products, financial services, digital platforms, websites, and related services that the Bank may offer.
By accessing a website, registering for an account, applying for a banking product, or using a service, a customer would acknowledge that they have read and understood the applicable Terms and Conditions.
A separate agreement may apply to a particular account or product. If it conflicts with these Terms and Conditions, the applicable product agreement would prevail to the extent permitted by law.
Important: The Bank's legal name, registered office, regulatory status, and authorization to conduct banking business must be independently verified before these Terms and Conditions are relied upon.
2. Scope of Services
Subject to applicable law, regulatory authorization, eligibility requirements, and the relevant product agreement, the Bank may offer:
- Personal and business accounts.
- Deposits and withdrawals.
- Domestic and international money transfers.
- Electronic banking and online account access.
- Payment and transaction services.
- Foreign exchange services.
- Business banking and other financial products.
Availability would depend on the Bank's actual operations, applicable restrictions, and the relevant product terms. No particular product or service is promised to every applicant.
3. Eligibility and Account Opening
To open an account, an applicant would need to satisfy the Bank's eligibility requirements and applicable law. The Bank may require applicants to:
- Meet applicable minimum age requirements.
- Provide valid identification and proof of address.
- Provide contact information and relevant financial information.
- Complete identity verification and customer due diligence.
- Disclose beneficial ownership and source of funds where required.
- Provide additional documentation needed to assess eligibility and compliance.
The Bank reserves the right to approve or reject applications in accordance with applicable law and established policies. An application would not constitute an approved account until required checks are complete and acceptance is expressly confirmed.
4. Accuracy of Customer Information
Customers would be required to provide accurate, complete, and current information and promptly notify the Bank of material changes to their name, address, contact information, business ownership, tax residency, or other relevant details.
The Bank may request updated documents or additional information to maintain accurate records and comply with legal obligations. False, misleading, incomplete, or fraudulent information may result in an application being rejected or an account being restricted or closed, subject to applicable law.
5. Account Security and Access Credentials
Customers would be responsible for safeguarding account credentials, passwords, PINs, authentication devices, and other security information. Customers should:
- Keep login credentials confidential and protect their devices and accounts.
- Avoid sharing passwords or authentication codes with unauthorized persons.
- Notify the Bank promptly of suspected unauthorized access, fraud, or compromised credentials.
- Cooperate reasonably with security investigations and account recovery procedures.
The Bank would maintain appropriate security controls, subject to applicable law and the controls actually implemented. Customers must not access another person's account, interfere with banking systems, bypass security controls, or use services unlawfully.
6. Deposits and Withdrawals
Deposits and withdrawals would be subject to account-specific terms, transaction limits, verification requirements, processing procedures, and applicable law. Availability of deposited funds may depend on payment method, settlement, verification, and clearing periods.
The Bank may delay or decline a transaction where reasonably necessary to investigate suspected fraud, verify the transaction, comply with a lawful instruction, or meet a legal obligation. Any minimum balance, withdrawal restriction, deposit limit, or availability condition would be disclosed in the applicable product documentation.
7. Transfers and Payments
Customers would be responsible for providing accurate recipient information, account details, amounts, and other required payment instructions. Valid instructions would be processed under the applicable payment arrangements, product terms, and law.
International transfers may involve intermediary institutions, receiving banks, currency conversion, compliance screening, and delays outside the Bank's direct control. Transfers may be delayed, rejected, returned, or investigated where required by law, information is incomplete, or a legitimate security or compliance concern arises.
Applicable transfer charges and processing conditions would be explained in the relevant fee schedule or product documentation.
8. Fees, Charges, and Foreign Exchange
Fees, commissions, interest rates, exchange rates, and other charges would be disclosed through the relevant account agreement, published fee schedule, or other legally required disclosure. Customers would authorize the Bank to debit fees properly payable under their account agreement, subject to applicable law.
Where currency conversion is involved, the applicable exchange rate and charges would be determined under the relevant transaction terms. A rate, fee, or charge would not be represented as guaranteed unless the applicable agreement expressly provides for it.
9. Interest and Account Balances
Interest, if applicable, would be calculated and credited under the relevant account or financial product terms. Rates may be fixed or variable. Account, available, and pending balances or holds may differ; a displayed balance would not necessarily mean all funds are immediately available for withdrawal.
Applicable interest, taxes, and calculation conditions would be described in the relevant product documentation.
10. Customer Due Diligence and Legal Compliance
The Bank may conduct identity verification, sanctions screening, anti-money-laundering checks, transaction monitoring, and other procedures required by applicable law. Customers would be expected to cooperate and provide requested documentation.
Where legally required or reasonably necessary to address a security or compliance concern, the Bank may delay transactions, request information, restrict account activity, or report to competent authorities. The Bank may be prohibited by law from disclosing details concerning an investigation, report, or restriction.
11. Suspicious, Unauthorized, or Disputed Transactions
Customers should review account statements and transaction notifications regularly and promptly report unrecognized transactions, suspected fraud, or errors through verified official channels.
The Bank would investigate reported disputes under its procedures and applicable law. Reimbursement, reversal, liability, or recovery would depend on the transaction circumstances, applicable payment rules, and legal requirements. Customers must not knowingly make false claims or seek duplicate reimbursement.
12. Online and Electronic Banking
Electronic banking services may be affected by maintenance, telecommunications failures, third-party outages, cybersecurity incidents, or other technical issues. The Bank may temporarily suspend access when needed for security, maintenance, investigation, or legal compliance.
The Bank would take reasonable steps to maintain availability and communicate material interruptions where appropriate and practicable. Customers should not rely solely on electronic access for urgent payments when another authorized channel is available.
13. Prohibited Activities
Customers must not use the Bank's services to:
- Commit fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, or other unlawful activities.
- Circumvent applicable sanctions or legal restrictions.
- Facilitate transactions using stolen funds or fraudulent documents.
- Misrepresent identity, beneficial ownership, or source of funds.
- Interfere with the Bank's systems or security controls.
- Violate the rights of other customers or third parties.
The Bank may take appropriate action if prohibited conduct is identified, subject to applicable law.
14. Account Restrictions, Suspension, and Closure
The Bank may restrict, suspend, or terminate an account where permitted by law, including where:
- Required customer information has not been provided.
- Fraud, unauthorized access, or unlawful activity is suspected.
- A legal or regulatory authority requires action.
- The account has been used in violation of applicable agreements.
- The Bank is otherwise legally entitled to terminate the relationship.
Where legally permitted, the Bank would provide notice and information about next steps. Remaining funds would be handled according to applicable law, outstanding obligations, legal restrictions, and the account agreement; account closure would not automatically forfeit a customer's lawful entitlement to funds. Customers may request closure under applicable procedures, subject to pending transactions and outstanding obligations.
15. Privacy and Confidentiality
The Bank's collection, use, storage, disclosure, and protection of personal information would be governed by its Privacy Policy and applicable data protection and banking laws, including confidentiality requirements and lawful disclosure exceptions. Customers should consult the Privacy Policy for details of applicable rights.
16. Complaints and Customer Support
Customers could submit complaints or service requests through the Bank's verified official contact channels. A complaint should identify the relevant account or transaction without unnecessarily exposing sensitive credentials.
The Bank would acknowledge and review complaints under its procedures and applicable deadlines. Where a complaint cannot be resolved internally, customers may have the right to refer it to a competent regulator, dispute-resolution body, or court.

17. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions would exclude or limit liability where prohibited by law. Subject to applicable law, the Bank would not be responsible for losses arising solely from circumstances outside its reasonable control, including certain third-party service interruptions or telecommunications failures, provided it fulfilled its applicable legal and contractual obligations.
Responsibility for unauthorized transactions, processing errors, negligence, breaches of duty, or other losses would be determined under applicable law and the relevant agreement. Nothing in this section removes non-waivable customer rights.
18. Amendments to These Terms
The Bank may amend these Terms and Conditions to reflect changes in services, business operations, legal requirements, or policies. Where required by law or contract, advance notice of material changes and any right to reject a change or terminate an affected service would be provided.
Updated terms would identify their effective date. Continued use after a change would constitute acceptance only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
19. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms and Conditions would be governed by the laws properly applicable to the Bank and the relevant banking relationship, subject to mandatory consumer-protection rules and other applicable legal requirements. Competent courts, regulators, or dispute-resolution bodies would be determined by applicable law and any valid agreement.
Before publication: Insert the verified governing-law provision, jurisdiction, and required regulatory complaint information following legal review.
20. Severability and Entire Agreement
If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions would continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. These Terms and Conditions, together with applicable account agreements, product disclosures, fee schedules, and incorporated policies, would constitute the contractual documentation for relevant services.
